Mr Jacob Zuma was lauded for saying during his acceptance speech in the National Assembly that he was hoping for a better relationship with the Opposition. Good thing he is not the Prime Minister of Britain. Robust debate in Parliament as it should be.


Not a particularly good debate in that video – but the advantages are clear: it forces leaders to be able to think on their feet and defend their positions by themselves.
Ok Prof: We’re up to bat now. We know what’s important, we know that Justice must be defended and uplifted by her lovers, I mean she has to have some folk who love, admire and protect her, and who are not fooled by self interested detractors charm with their cool promises.
This is a new period, just as it was in 94. Just perhaps, JZ, cause he loves to be admired and respected, may do good… lets see, but we can’t count on it.
What matters is the rule of law. I’m there, I know you and others are…
