This morning it was agreed that Nyami Booi, Chairperson of the Portfolio Committee on Defence and Military Veterans, will forward a letter to Deputy President Kgalema Motlanthe, Leader of Government Business, advising him that the portfolio committee:
• has received guidance from the Max Sisulu, Speaker of the National Assembly, that parliament has the power to require any person or institution to produce reports;
• is now formally requesting that the interim reports be produced within a reasonable period of thirty days;
• that until the interim reports are received the portfolio committee has taken a decision to suspend deliberations on the Defence Amendment Bill; and;
• that in the event the interim reports are not produced the portfolio committee reserves the right, as a measure of last resort, to compel cabinet to produce the interim reports. – Statement of DA MP David Maynier

Agreed, brilliant, and there are 20 babies depicted, and yes, his values he will pass to his children. Until they think for themselves, perhaps after some global travel, Damascus event or the curse of self destruction, but then again it will be rich, spoilt celebs that they meet and party with, the ruling elite everywhere, here as a pseudo Democracy ruled by a new cultural monarchy… shame. May well be an unstoppable reality.
Also, no doubt about it, Zuma may well have established a royal family as a continuing political (if that is the correct descriptive) family of an enduring and future South Africa, whatever that will be. Certainly Europeans developed such a theme, the middles ages, or earlier.
Thank God our new elites have stakes in the JSE and various investments… thus I think trade, employment possibilities, and Democratic PR spin will continue. If we get salaries up, make some headway with services and our pressure on government continues, then perhaps we can achieve a win win.

At the same time Prof, I believe South Africa can actually become a rainbow nation of renown, especially within the international community, which it is hoping for; even with all the seemingly impossible challenges and damming obstructions we face. Democrats worldwide are watching, laughing, then shrugging it off, but they do think about Africa, and many care, and many are saddened.
However, the split between the rich and the poor has to, absolutely must shift. That will take a concerted effort for a generation with education opportunities rewarded to all, regardless of their skin, price rises for staff, everywhere, plus on our part, patience and commitment, even compromising with unions. We just have to get government to agree that it’s to their benefit. Our greatest asset is the people.
With all our minority power and wealth, I just don’t get it that we collectively are not funding (non specific party) sophisticated ads about Democracy, about rights, about good and bad behaviour for one assigned to serving the people. Then continued pressure for education funds and advancement. We can’t let up. We must have education, skills, valued jobs, for all those who are willing.

Again , Zapiro will hide behind freedom of speech , freedom of the press and all these other funny laws contained in the ‘prostitution.’ This is defamation. I have no other way of describing it.
Zapiro , Hellen Zille , Moshoe and many others , as Zuma once said” are very wise, they see things we do not see” , are not informed. They think they know , yet they do not. People like Zapiro are part of the so called “the illuminated ones”, who want to replace poligamy and other things that make us who we are , that make us different from the others , with disgusting things such us HOMOSEXUALITY. Unfortunatately , our own people such as Mamphela Ramphela and others are also being used by these secret organisations. I just do not see anything wrong in what Zuma is doing. Zuma is taking care of his children. He is marryng their mothers. We all know that Zuma is going to marry all these women. He demonstrated that by paying inhlawulo to the family concerned. Most of the people who have become experts on Zuma’s personal life do not even do that. They are failing even to support one child, yet they are working. I do not want to mention mention names. I know them. Some of them are in parliament.Yet they have a lot to say about Zuma who is doing the right thing by acknowledging partenity and pay damages for that.
I saw some newspapers carrying headlines such as” Zuma sorry after nation says: Zip it !” This is a huge mistake. He should not have done that. It was unnecessary. One of our thinkers Dr Victor Velaphi Mkhize quoted Steve Biko on one of the SABC radio discussions and said Steve Biko said to us ” Africans owe the world a human face”.The discussion was about poligamy. He was basically saying we should not be apologetic for being who we are. Today people call poligamists with all sort of names , such as people with multiple partners, cheaters etc.This is foreign to us. We do not have cheaters in our culture. These concepts were introduced to us by Moshoe’s religion , Christianity. Now Moshoe ,through his religion and with the help of Hellen Zille , Zapiro and others are trying to push HOMOSEXUALITY down our throats. Agents of illuminaty , listen up: You will never win that one. You might have taken our land , our cattle and goats , but you will never touch our culture. Some have even gone to the extent of accusing poligamists such as Zuma of taking the battle against HIV and AIDS back by TEN YEARS . WHat a cheeck ! How the hell do they know that ? Are they suggesting that Zuma partners are HIV positive ? NO no no guys , reduce the speed , you are now flying. Msholozi , sue them!

Anonymous and Lobengula, the pair of you are deplorable cases. Goodnatured invitations to debate points are clearly wasted on the two of you. Truly, I would be surprised if either one of you could argue his or her way out of grade school. And let us be clear about one thing: my remarks here are addressed not to any particular race but rather to two hopelessly ignorant louts who are hardly a credit to the species.

What I find deplorable is that you deploy white liberal conceptions like “rationality,” “reason,” and “logic” in support of your RACIST agenda.

Mikhail, as always, I find your vigour most compelling. Your remarks have instilled in my mind an interesting question. You label ‘rationality’, ‘reason’ and ‘logic’ white liberal conceptions. Are you suggesting that black people should jettison rationality, reason and logic? If you are, then I would be the first to caution you on that score. And given the circumstances that presently obtain, I would do so for two reasons. The first is that it is our capacity to reason and logic that, in large measure, separates us from the beasts. The second is that you really should not be encouraging Anonymous and Lobengula to abandon logic – they tend to do that anyway and your advocacy is not helping.

I know this is not under discussion but I was wondering what legal recourse is available to Dudzai Nyamuramba, should it be established that he is indeed President Jacob Gedleyihlekisa Zuma’s son.
